This is your potential problem. If the bcm the junkyard installed has an active VTSS (vehicle theft security system) it has a code which it transfers to the pcm. The system looks for a signal from the skim module which is attached to the steering column. The key has a small coded transmitter (grey programmable key) which is linked to the skim module. If your Sebring did not have the optional skim sytem originally, you will now have to throw out the bcm and the corrupted pcm. If your Sebring came with a slim black key, you&#039;ll now need a bcm and pcm. Sorry.</description>
